Optimal quest guide

From Old School RuneScape Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The optimal quest guide lists Old School RuneScape quests in an order that allows new Members to progress in an order that minimises the amount of skill training. This guide does not take into consideration unlockable content, such as fairy rings or dragon equipment, that provides numerous benefits to the player's game progression. It is highly recommended that players complete the quests in the Recommended Quests section as soon as possible.

This guide is meant for regular accounts; for ironman accounts, see here.

Guide[edit | edit source]

Experience lamps or books of knowledge received through random events or achievement diaries may be used on any skill of the player's choosing or to save time by shortening the next bit of training in this guide.

Players with Construction 50 Construction should take advantage of their player-owned house for access to a portal chamber, teak altar, and mounted glory. Teleport to house (tablet) may also be used for emergency teleport. New players on a budget should use a ring of dueling to access the bank and restore stats.

Completing achievement diaries will be beneficial throughout the game; some of the rewards include access to unlimited teleports, noted item drops, antique lamps, shortcuts, and additional Lunar spells.

Recommended Quests[edit | edit source]

The quests below list some of the more notable unlockable content, teleportation methods, equipment, and locations. The quests below are not listed in any specific order.

Quests[edit | edit source]

This list does not include suggestions for combat levels. Boss fights might be nearly impossible to do with the stats listed here. Always make sure to train up your combat stats to a level at which you're confident you can kill or survive dangerous parts of the listed quests.

Hover over a skill reward in the "New levels after quest" column to see the exact total experience in the listed skill after completing the quest.
